Hari Raya V2

View Comments

raya2

No no no. The title is not related to Bersih 2.0 so don't worry about it.
Nothing yellow involve here and I'm using the total green layout for my banner.
It's just the second version of my seasonal dedication for Hari Raya.
Just named it in such way because it will indicate the latest version of Hari Raya post.

Yeah, so Islamic friends, Selamat Hari Raya and maaf zahir dan batin. Have a safe trip if you're travelling back to your kampungs and for those who are not celebrating, the same advice goes to you too.

In conjunction of Raya, the independance day of Malaysia fall on today (the second Raya of 2011) but I care less about it due to the recent political issues (now I'm talking about the Bersih thingy) so I'm not fancy about the celebration this year. I just hope the upcoming election and my first ever vote for the Malaysia society will change the things that are currently awfully exist. That's my frank words, dear PM.

Cut to the chase, back to Raya dedication. I would like to post this music video from Yuna as she sang this song last year and I think it's still the best Raya song I had listened rather than the "Oh oh oh Hari Raya~" old or improvised version regular Raya songs. More to come please Yuna as I'm your fan of Malaysia artiste after the era of Datuk Siti Nurhaliza. I vote for you, deary! Let's sing this song together!

Berlalu sudah bulan puasa
Masa untuk bersuka-ria
Oh yeah
Raikan hari raya

Kawan-kawan semuanya happy
Kekasih pulang dari oversea
[I think it's Qi :) ]
Oh yeah
Samalah kita nanti

Mungkin dahulu terasa sepi
Hanya keluarga yang menemani
Tapi sekarang tidak lagi

[CHORUS]
Raya kali ini mungkin berbeza
Kerna ku ada dia
Nyalakan pelita cinta di hari raya
Hati seperti bunga api bersama dia
Oh indahnya
Ku jatuh cinta di hari raya

Cinta di hari raya
Cinta di hari raya

Semangat kita nak bangun pagi
Pakai cantik-cantik hari ini
Oh yeah
Nak jumpa somebody
[I think it's Qi, again :) ]

Rumahku dihiasi indah
Senyum sehingga hujung telinga
Oh yeah
Tunggu kekasih hati

Syawal kali ini ku tak sabar
Hati terasa berdebar-debar
Oh yeah
Diri sudah berpunya

[CHORUS Repeat 3x]

Cinta di hari raya
Cinta di hari raya
Cinta di hari raya

Once again, Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all blog readers and visitors!

Huat Ar! It's (Another) Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Sigh. I can't believe that I've passed through 2010 and running forward on 2011. And here's come the CNY 2011. There's time for me now a bit sadness due to some family problem but hey, I hope I can get through this as I'm happy, happy, happy to have consecutive four days of festive celebration.

Not forgetting about...

My beloved ang pows. Not to be greedy but hopefully, I can get quite a sum from it.

Not to mention, I have another two things (or more) things to do during CNY.

Lab report. Only one. I think I'm gonna do it tomorrow.

Fixing somebody computer. I earned during this time. Tee hee. But kind of a disturbance but I'm promised my customer to do it.

My damn THESIS!!! I haven't really get on it. I'm doing a lot of patch work but I need to connect them! OMG, when I think of my supervisor, I really don't have a concrete answer for her about it. Erm, I think I can survive on it, but not in the last minute. This is a no-no game.

Anyway, after this CNY, I have a tough journey to pass. My once-in-a-lifetime journey. There'll be no second time. My graduation time.

I heard from TV programme about Feng Shui Zodiac on 8TV. The sifu said those who are dragon zodiac will have a good fortune in this bunny year. For me, I have a good prospective on my workplace (which I'm gonna find after my degree study), meet a lot of seniors that can help me and ahem, a bit of luck in love relationship.

We (dragon zodiacs) must take this opportunity to look for partners. It's a good time and don't miss it!

This is his words. So about me, erm, I think I just pass as I'm still in education line and I want to focus more on my path which builds up my foundation of my future life. That's why I said, no-no game time. About love, I think I just let it come on another time.

Like wise, I still like to be a bachelor. Single with freedom. :P

Okay! End my words now and heads up to my bed for the CNY Cho 1. Good night peeps and once again, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL & HAVE A PROSPEROUS YEAR AHEAD. BEST WISHES TO EVERYONE OF YOU.

A bientot!

Happy Winter Solstice & Merry Christmas

I know it's quite late to say the "Tong Yuan" season but it's never too late to wish here.

tongyuen

I got this shot on my own during making tong yuan with my uni buddies. If you want to see what did we do, click here on my Facebook album. I'm quite lazy to upload them into Flickr as I'm pumping a lot of photo into it. So, it's essentially for my blog entry only.

Not forgetting the upcoming event on this Saturday...

xmasgreetings10

It seems that next week is the starting of another semester break. For your information, I'm not having any of it because my final year project is still active. Better version, I'm getting busy to finish off my experiments and start writing thesis.

Yesterday, after the Tong Yuan event, I cycled around my housing area and found out most of Kamparians (particularly UTAR students) has gone back to their hometown. Neither Christian nor non-Christian, they take the event as a holiday as what I've said, semester break. So, early of yesterday I got a call from my mum asking me that I want to go home for the Tong Yuan celebration or not. Because currently, I've some experiments ongoing, I can't leave yet. Kinda sad that I have to absent myself for the event.

And last Tuesday, it was my mother's birthday. At least, I've celebrated her big day earlier. Anyhow, yesterday my mood was going down and I felt homesick. I was thinking how am I gonna balance myself later on if I work outside of my hometown. I will be devastated with such feelings. It is bad. Very bad ones. I can go mad for a week if I kept myself in that state.

Sigh. Eventually, I still can hold my stress and keep strong to face the coming days.

By the way, there's something new here.

I think not all Malaysians like to use this social networking called Myspace. So, tadaa! I got mine so look out at it from here or clicking the link on the top bar of this blog. It's kinda different than Facebook but I will try out the site.

It will be simple.

Why I make myself a Myspace account?

Two reasons. One, I'm going to remove my Friendster account once when I save out all my stuffs from there. Two, my "brilliant" Malaysia government proposed to banned Facebook from Malaysia because they scared Malaysians condemned the government with so-called racist and threatening post. Shit on the person who propose such idiotic idea. They are worse than people who are thinking in the box. I think they are not using their brains at all.

So, you can banned it anytime but I will confirm that I will start condemning the government in whatever internet post out that I can find. Blog, twitter, myspace and whatever. I'm serious so don't provoke me making such moves. You don't want create another Namewee version people. So, back off.

*I sounds like shouting at you because I use the word "you". I'm referring to the Malaysia government, not you my dear, lovely readers. Muacks :)

Selamat Hari Raya

Selamat Hari Raya 2010 Banner

Daun dianyam makin tersimpul,
Gulai di dapur terlebih santan,
Sanak saudara riuk berkumpul,
Sambut lebaran penuh kesyukuran.

Ibu riuh ke hulu dan hilir,
Sedia juadah pelengkap hidangan,
Pagi Syawal bergema takbir.
Tanda Kemenangan puasa sebulan.

---

First, I would like to wish all my Islam friends and seniors Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. It's been a while that I had a feast for it because all my Malay friends are not around in Ipoh or I'm having exam during the season. No matter how, I enjoy having multiracial friends because I learnt their cultures and found them exquisite and authentically interesting.

Recently, there are few issues about racism here and there in Malaysia but they don't torn my faith having friends from different cultures and ethnics in past, present and future as well. With that, I believe as we hold our hands and unite each other to bring Malaysia to other countries to show that our country is strong, bold and remain its tradition.

As there's a saying in Malay:-

"Bersatu teguh, bercerai roboh"

which means that once we are united, we are strong but when we are seperate far from each another, we will fall. So, no matter how, we must keep away negative thought in order to gain our beliefs and unity for present and future.

I sound patriotic now so just back to the real story. For those who are celebrating Hari Raya, I wish you had a good time with your family members around and cherish the moments. For those who are not, go to your Malay's friends house and get into the festival.

Maaf Zahir & Batin.

A bientot!

P.S. : You might see me abandoning the blog but I'm not. So, I hope you stay tuned because I'm quite busy in the moment dealing with my Final Year Projects. I try to make it as successful as possible because I want to get good outcome for my polymer research. Wish me luck and look forward on my blog posts after my final exams. :)

Happy New Year 2010

View Comments

newyear
Oh my! This 2009 year passed so fast. I'm already pass my half journey of my uni life and it's more exciting in each every year. Make new friends, having some quarrels with my friends and family members, getting deeper experience in blogging and money making in Internet and... ah! I have so much happenings in 2009 and they just come and go in a blink of an eye.
I haven't decide my resolutions for the new year (or don't want to think about it :P). I just want to do everything with my whole strength and full effort especially my CGPA. I want to aim at least 3.00 to ensure my step towards Master Of Science in the same olde UTAR, other universities or somewhere out from Malaysia... I'm looking some of them right now and target them in future. My life mission is still the same:- Being a professional chemist doing research.
...or being famous becoming a photo spread in a magazine (but not in women mags! I'm not leng chai and hunky enough! :P).

*dreaming*

Bang! *knock my head on wall*

Anyway, I wish everyone Happy New Year 2010 and let us welcome the second decade of the 2010! :)

And hopefully I won't having this...I don't know whether to trust about 2012 phenomenon but don't strike a disaster on my first year job! I still want to live!!! >P<

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Here's another festive greeting from me and I hope you guys like it.

For those who are:-

Christians: May you all have a wonderful Christmas celebration with full of joys.
Non-christians: Take the opportunity to join in the festival with friends.
Away from home: You're not alone and enjoy yourself around. Hopefully you can get home next time. :)
You know, if you believe in Santa Claus, you need a sock and hang it somewhere on the wall of your house. He will get into your house by chimney. In Malaysia, we don't have chimney in home and I wonder how he's gonna come it. Maybe, break in? XD. I think my dog will give him a bite first... Then, he put your presents into the sock. You might wanna leave something for Santa to eat...
Just don't do that for the sake of your ideal present. :P

So, I might want to get my socks from here...
Hopefully, I'm still in the 'good' list and might need to leave a note for him.

Use gloves to handle the sock. Handle at your own risks!
:P Just some lame jokes here... Ignore it.

A bientot!

Flunk POM Partially...

View Comments

Today, I had a bad feeling that I'm not going to do well in Properties Of Matter finals..
Since my Déjà vu is so accurate, I can't finish my test properly...
That's sucks...
Never mind, I hope it will get at least a pass for me.
Hopefully!
Okey, back to my General Physics...
Actually I'm writing this post and studying physics at the same time...
So, I want to deviate for a while and think my schedules after my Functional Biology test.

Monday, 11/May/2009: Get a big nap at Kampar until 3 something, clean my room, bathroom and living room, yum-cha with my gang plus my PM lecturer at night and get late night out whole day...

Tuesday, 12/May/2009: Continue my spring cleaning (I purposely do it partially on Monday so I can slack around, have breakfast with my friends (if they are still in Kampar), back to Ipoh and sleep, sleep, sleep.

Wednesday - Friday, 13 - 15/May/2009: Going to test my newly downloaded Windows 7 RC, repair a customer's computer A.S.A.P., pack for holiday on Saturday till Sunday at KL

Saturday - Sunday, 16 - 17/May/2009: Visit my grandpa grave at Kajang, shop-till-I-drop in KL with my parents, photograph around KL city, and maybe if I've permission, I may cruise around KL to find 'someone'...

My schedule onwards? I may need to clean my car, get my car bumper fix, change my car oil, cleaning my house (my belongings only), watch TV, planning to go to Haadyai once more but probably will be cancelled due to Swine Flu, TQ =.=|||, change my holiday to Cameron Highlands about two or three days...

Emm, I try to fill my time before I have a bad moody feeling to see my exam slip. So, good luck guys to get high scores and wish me luck too and see me running around the city and of course... in internet...

Adios!

(Nice?)

At last, the Chinese New Year of 2009 arrived!

Really happy but this year, I expect less angpow. Haiz~

So, fellows... As I promised for the pix, here you go~

Camwhore while I go to the vegetarian restaurant~

With my sister's help on camwhore...

My sister's turn... (Beautiful, ain't she? >.<)

Another silly cam for us both!

Actually, we are heading towards the restaurant and we are late 1/2 hour...
Luckily, we call them about our lateness.

When we arrived there...

Ohmigosh! There's too many people!

We can 't find a table for ourselves.

Sigh~

We need to cancel our reservation since a waiter said no tables and if you're served, we have to wait for 1 hour to get our dishes! WTF~

So, we headed to...

Guess where we were heading to?

.
.
.
.
.

McD!

WTH! It's my first time to have brunch (breakfast + lunch) on Cho 1!

Creative or not?

So, I had...

Prosperity Chicken Burger
(Damn spicy and hot, not my type of burger I would like to have since the day is hot!)

Yummy~

Spring french fries!
(This is a limited edition fries every year. I won't miss it!)

Not forgetting my...

McFlurry + Oreo!

(Coz the burger is damn hot, I need something to lower my tongue's temperature before it burned and swollen)

Emm, nice? Finally, I add some Coke on it but I'm not going to take a pix on it coz it looks like mud ... but not for me~ Yummy!

Next post on the night of Cho 1!

Adios~
