Kite Flying

View Comments

*P.S.: Hardly can update my blog lately due to lack of time to blog... So, patience my blog visitors. I will try my best to post something up here!

Recently, I found a hobby which is quite interesting and it's getting hip on my residential area back to Ipoh.
Almost everyday, the evening bring us some strong wind and the sun is shaded with puffs of heavy clouds is a good sign to fly a kite.
So, guess which one is mine? (Actually my mum lend hers to me...)
This one, my dear...

Have a closer look...Opera face... Mine is the most unique kite comparing with others.
(1) This kite is bought from Shanghai, China
(2) Considering this kind of shape, mine is the largest.
(3) Only mine has the "Opera mask" pattern. Others are like strips of colours and hurdling bats.See how far my kite goes...
My camera doesn't have problem. It's damn high until the kite is equvialent to a dot. Some of the kites are much higher than me ! Wondering how long their string is because on the previous picture, I ran out of string. So, imagine that!
Soaring up the dark blue sky...
I bring along of my juniors with me so that they can have a fun time.
Controlling...
Yay! The kite is up up the way (like Superman)!

Controlling a kite is an easy job as long as you know the wind flow and its strength. You can't keep unrolling your string beacuse the kite will lose the pressure against the wind. At the same time, you must unroll your string so that your kite will fly higher without straining itself on the same height. So, as a tip, unroll for a second and stop it. Then, tuck your string for a while and unroll your string again. You will fly your kite in no time.

At Kampar, the wind is damn strong every evening and I've bought another kite. Sadly to say, I'm kinda busy and tired after classes... So, wish me that I've some time and energy to do so in Kampar...

French Language (Level 1)

View Comments

Bonjour madame monsieur! Comment ça va? Je vais bien, merci.
(Good day/Hello ladies and gentlemen! How are you today? I'm fine, thank you)

Ha ha! Finally, I'm into some foreign language (seriously) on every Tuesday and Thursday in UTAR Kampar. Ain't cheap you know to have such class which cost me RM 190...
What a blood sucker...

Anyway, my first option on foreign language was Thai actually... Sawatdee and other 'kap-kap' verse but UTAR doesn't have it. So, in order to fulfill my USSDC marks which is quite an essential cert in UTAR activities...which makes it no difference than primary and secondary school co-curicullum! After having a 3 hours report writing and 2 hours nap, I headed to UTAR Block E around 5.25 pm.

I look at the sky...
Don't you dare to...
...rain.
(The sky didn't listen to me!)

Never mind. I cycled towards UTAR Kampar and ended up wet on my trousers! When I entered to the lecture hall, it was freezing (like hell!) and I was shivering!

When the teacher come, it was unexpected. He is one of the internation lecturer who teach Electronic Engineering in UTAR, Dr. Aissa Boudjella. Yes, he's a French. (at the first place, I thought he's from islamic countries).

During his teaching, I hardly catch his English words and he emphasize a lot on French pronouciation! I was...
...speechless and don't know what to say. I managed to practise with Jensen and Wei Thian at the same time to catch up. In the end, Dr. Aisaa asked each students to introduce ourselves using French (of course after a few teaching on self-introduction)! When is my turn, I said:-

Je m'appelle Nigel. Je suis etudiant. Je suis Malaisien.

(My name is Nigel. I'm a student and Malaysian)

Cool man! I can intro myself in French but Jensen seemed to be much better than me! He speak louder and clearer pronouciation. Never mind, step by step first... I've download two reference books on learning French language and hopefully I can advance on it!

 bientôt!
(See you next time/Bye)

Blogging is good...

View Comments

As from the title, yeah... blogging is good...
As we blog about our stories, you might think want to earn something from your blog.

First, you will meet strangers who peek our your blog and make friends with them. I have a few blog friend currently.
Secondly, you might want to earn some little money by putting adverts from any sources such as Nuffnang, Advertlets and Google Adsense. For me, I'm been a Nuffnanger a year and earn a few bucks...
Thirdly, currently there are quite a number of contest which is specifically for bloggers. I had a few of them and waiting for the results anxiously...
As a result, one of the contests I've join is McDonalds "Have you McValue Lunch-ed this week?" contest...
It's simple, just add you blog title (on your web browser) with the question above and write a post about your moments of having McValue Lunch. The prize is iPod Nano.

I know it's damn cheap to have a meal with nice hot-piping burger, a coke and some fries...
See? For the sake of money-saving fast food...

Okey, let's go back to my contest thingy. Actually, I did change my blog title but I didn't write anything about my moments of McValue Lunch. But...
...this letter was sent to my house yesterday. The contents...
...Jeng jeng jeng...
Two coupons of burgers from McD!!!Yay, what a free meal for me! It's a complimentary coupon!
Actually I felt guilty about not posting anything but on the other hand, the coupons are tempting... Ha ha ha! I'm lucky though.
Both expires on next year! Emm, gonna keep them on my wallet and have free meals...

So, blog really good... So start blogging and make it in your part of life! It might help you on day....

Adios~
